About Netlearn Banner: ICDL, Elearning, Conferencing and Training Venue

NetLearn, a leading supplier of ICDL in SA and Africa was started as the result of the vision of Jenny Cole, who recognised the huge benefits that an international qualification would bring to the corporate and educational market in SA. Starting in 2001 with their very first client in KZN, Mondi, Netlearn has now become the largest supplier of ICDL accredited material in South Africa. The vision of bringing affordable and accessible training to the market was based on electronically delivered training, and the market was slow to buy into the concept.

However, e-learning, because of its flexibility and affordability is here to stay. NetLearn has developed a strategy around blended learning which is proving very successful. This strategy incorporates elements of e-learning, facilitation through targeted workshops, and manuals that supplement and support the training.

An ICDL project with the KZN Department of Education has proven to be the success of this strategy, with exceptional pass rates being achieved. As NetLearn’s clients become more comfortable with the blended training introduced to upgrade IT skills, broader training is introduced in the form of soft skills such as finance, management (using the Harvard Business School programmes) E-Health, etc. NetLearn has positioned itself to be at the forefront of training delivery in South Africa.
