| Candidates who successfully complete the ICDL CAD certification will be able to demonstrate to an international standard a comprehensive knowledge of core 2D & 3D CAD skills to: |

- Printing or plotting
- Navigating using tools and views, using layers and levels
- Drawing exchange – export drawings
- Import other files
- Inquiry commands
- Measure distances, angles, areas
- Setting and modifying properties
- Inserting, creating and modifying text
- Dimensions, using blocks, cells and OLE
- Using and modifying plot
