| REGISTERING: |
The candidate has to obtain an ICDL Skills Log Book. This book is the ICDL registration document in which the students personal details and test results for the seven modules are recorded. The Skills Log Books are available at NetLearn.
The candidate must write the ICDL exams at an accredited ICDL testing center. |
| TRAINING: |
Candidates are free to obtain training from any accredited ICDL training centre or supplier. Candidates have the flexibility of attending an ICDL course or self study. In order for a candidate to obtain the ICDL qualification all exams must be written at an accredited ICDL testing centre. |
| TESTING: |
As the candidate completes a module they are now prepared to write the ICDL exam. ICDL exams can only be written at approved ICDL testing centres with ICDL approved testing software. NetLearn is an ICDL approved testing centre who uses ICDL approved automated testing software. NetLearn offers the candidate the opportunity to write a practice or mock test at a small fee before writing the ICDL exam. |
| CERTIFICATION: |
| ICDL Start Certification:
After completing any four exams of the ICDL Core certification the candidate can send their ICDL skills log book to ICDL South Africa to receive their ICDL Start Certificate. |
ICDL Core Certification:
After completing any seven exams of the ICDL Core certification the candidate can send their ICDL skills log book to ICDL South Africa and receive their ICDL Certificate. |
